Need eBook help!

OK, maybe I'm in the wrong place but hopefully someone can help me or direct me to the right place. I have a Samsung Captivate which is the same thing as the Facinate so nobody through rocks for me being in the wrong 'hood' OK? I downloaded FBreader app so I can read ebooks in epub format. I don't want Kindle and from reviews I read, FBreader is better than Aldiko or Laputa.
#1. Where do I go to buy ebooks (best sellers, etc.)
#2. How do I download them to my PC then transfer to my external SD card in my phone. Or/And
#3. How do I download directly from my phone to the SD card.

Personally, I do use Aldiko which does allow book searching through it, so am not familiar with your particular app. However, there's a number of ebook websites that can be used to buy ebooks (and honestly, I'd almost suggest finding which one your favorite publisher uses and go through that store or even search around for the lowest price on a particular book).

As for getting it to the phone, once the phone is connected via cable to the computer, drag down the notification bar, click on usb connected and tell it to mount the phone. You will have a new drive on your computer that matches with your SD card which allows you to manipulate those files. If you download something on the internet (like those ebooks), they get saved to your SD card by default.
