need help finding pictures saved from text that were recieved as media

I have saved several pictures my daughter sent me to my sd card. When i look for them in my gallery they are not there. When she sent them they were just photos but i received them as media..... I can't find them and i would love to use one as my wallpaper. Help!

I've had the same issue b4.....I turned off the phone, pulled the battery and turned back on and they appeared. If not, download Astro File Manager, and look for a folder possibly named "downloads", they might be there and you can open them that way.
