Need help finding system update stored file.

My phone somehow downloaded the JB 4.1.2 update and it continually asks if I want to install it. I do NOT want the update. How can I get rid of the downloaded file. I don't want to accidentally allow it to install it.

If you clear your cache, it should get rid of it.

Turn the phone off. Hold power + vol up + vol down until you see a black screen with white words. Use volume down to scroll to recovery and press vol up to select it. At the dead looking android hold volume down and then tap volume up once. This is stock recovery. Scroll using the volume key to wipe cache partition and press power to activate it. Then reboot as normal.

Thanks I did it and if I don't see the instal nag again I guess it worked.
