Need help for lost Droid 2

I've misplaced in Droid 2 in my house. It is turned off at the moment.

Is there any way, other than a locator app which I did not install, to remotely power it on? Or, to have it issue some sound or tone?

Not that I know of. There are apps that can make it ring, even when in silent. Turning the device on if its off is a lost cause.
