Need help going back to 2.0.1 from the 2.1 update

Recently did the how to for the 2.1 update thru this website. I think now that I did it, Id like to go back and just wait for the verizon update thats official. I noticed quite a few glitches and it seems to make the phone run not nearly as smooth as I had anticipated.

will it just automatically update me to the version of 2.1 officially released by verizon when it comes out? I've tried using this way to revert back to older version and its not working correctly.
