Need Help - mac user

I bricked my D2 pretty good. I can get into the bootloader and the factory recovery, but that's it- everything else is the M logo. I've been googling and searching all the forums, and I'm pretty sure I have to sbf (factory/cache wipes don't work).
So all I've got is a mac, and I've been trying to sbf through terminal. I've followed all the instructions I can to get this to work but I always get error messages.

I'm new to this stuff but I'm trying to learn. Does anyone have experience with macs who could help? It'd be much appreciated.

Well, I figured out what I think is the easiest way to sbf on a mac. I had to download virtual box and ubuntu (both free) and sbf via the linux way.

After everything got going, it was really easy. So if anyone has only access to a mac and needs to sbf, I would be glad to help, because it was pretty frustrating for a while.
