Root the Samsung Galaxy Rugby ProDownload and install the Samsung USB drivers to your PC. Restart the PC once after installing them.Download the ODIN 3.04 zip file and extract it to your desktopDownload the ClockworkMod Recovery Tar file. You should get a file namedcomanche_cwr_6015_utkanos.tar.md5Download the CWR root update to you PC. You should get a file namedcwmr_root.zipOn your phone make sure you have enabled*USB Debugging*by going toSettings > Developer OptionsConnect your phone to the PC and transfer the*cwmr_root.zip*file from Step 4 to both - the internal as well as the external SD card on your phone. This is just a safety measure in case CWM is unable to read the external SD cardDisconnect your device and power it off. Now reboot to download mode by turning it back on while pressing and holding the*Volume Down + Home + Power*buttons. When your phone prompts you if you want to continue to Download Mode, just press*Volume UpLaunch ODIN on your PC now. In ODIN, click the PDA button, and then select the ClockworkMod recovery tar file you downloaded in Step 3Leave everything else in ODIN as is. Just make sure the*Auto Reboot & F. Reset Time*boxes are checked. Now connect your phone to the PC using the OEM supplied USB cableThe box under the*ID:COM*should turn yellow and display a COM port number, plus you should see the messageAdded!!*in the main ODIN message box belowClick the*Start*button in ODIN to start flashing the CWM recovery tar file to you device. Wait patiently while ODIN does its thing.Once ODIN has finished flashing the file, the box above the ID:COM slot will turn Green with the text*PASS!*in it. And your phone will reboot automatically.Once your phone has booted up, power it off again. Now reboot to recovery by pressing and holding the*Volume Up + Home + Power*buttons, and release them when you see the Samsung logoIn CWM recovery, scroll to*Install zip from SD card, and select it using thePower*button. Then Select*Choose zip from SD card.*This will bring up the contents of the SD card (depending on whether you have selected external or internal SD card in CWM recovery). Scroll down to the*cwmr_root.zip*file you transferred to your phone in Step 6, and select it using the*Power*buttonCWM will now start flashing the root package to your device. Once the flash is complete, select*Go Back, and thenReboot System NowOnce your device has booted up, open your app drawer and look for the Superuser icon. You now have a rooted Galaxy Rugby Pro with CWM installed, and can go ahead and try out various root apps, as well as custom ROMs on your device.*

This is the process i used ever thing went great until i try to find the package on my sd card. It doesn't even show my sd card tryed a different card both cards are 32 gig cards both were formated. It just doesn't show up. Thanks for any help

Try this process:

1. Place all the files you downloaded to your Desktop
2. Extract files from the Odin archive over to your Desktop
3. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
4. Copy the Root Package archive over to the root of your SD card.
5. Once the file’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.
6. Double-click on the Odin executable file and it’ll launch.
7. Click on PDA and select the ClockworkMod Recovery file you have placed on your Desktop.
8. Checkmark the box that says F. Reset Time. Leave Repartition and Auto Reboot unchecked.
9. Turn OFF your device
10. Reboot your device into Download mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.
11. Press the Volume UP button to continue to Download mode.
12. Plug your device in to your PC via USB cable.
13. Hit Start in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the recovery.
14. Once the recovery’s been flashed, you’ll get a message on your screen saying PASS. DO NOT reboot your device, just head onto the next section to learn how to root your device.

1. Pull the battery out of your device.
2. Put it back into the device.
3. Reboot the device into Recovery mode by holding down the Volume UP+Home+Power buttons together.
4. You should now be in the Recovery mode.
5. From the Recovery menu, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.
6. Navigate to the SD card of your device and choose the Root Package archive you copied earlier to your device.
7. It’ll flash the package to your device.
8. Once it’s done, reboot your device.

9. And you’re all done!

Tried

Tried your suggestion. Got pass on odin. Got to step 5 on second part. But could not go any further the sd card didn't pull up. At the bottom of the screen. E:can't mount/cache /recovery /command.
I have used 2 different sd cards both 32 gig. Formated. The second card i wiped the card clean except for the root package. Same thing. It doesn't show my sd card. Any hhelp would be appreciated. Thanks again

I've tried the steps above several time with the same exact results, Device will not recognize the sd card. Finally gave up months ago.
Thought I'd try once again and came across your post.
Have you been able to solve this?
