Need help setting up AndFTP

AndFTP connection problem

So I've installed AndFTP on my Droid and Cerberus FTP Server on my PC.
This is the FTP server info I am connecting with:

Hostname: xxx.xx.xxx.xxx (external IP)
Type: FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
Port: 21
Username: LanguidLegend (created via Cerberus)
Password: 
Local dir: /sdcard
Remote dir:

OK... now when I try to connect :
When I try to connect to either my external or internal IP (192.168.1.2), this is what I see:

Connecting, please wait...
a.a.a.a.a.e: Connection closed without indication.

I've searched online and am still at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
