Need help to flash the stock rom

I have an unrooted TB with xxx0402w radio and need to return the original rom with x0223r radio. The stock rom (x0223r) is on the sd card, but when the hboot begins it claims that the rom is of the older date. At this time the upgrade process stalls. Any idea how to overwrite this restriction. Thanks

UPDATE: Had to root the TB in order to flash the stock rom. Now, it is unrooted and back to the 0223r radio baseband.
