This problem cropped up about a month ago, I did a factory reset, which fixed things for about a week.
Every few hours, while using my phone, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive, and then scrolls whatever page I'm on, pulls down the notification bar, and selects things without me ever touching it. Locking the phone, then unlocking it fixes the problem, but this has become a HUGE annoyance, and it is happening more frequently. Usually it starts when I either:
1. Use the virtual keyboard
2. Use multitouch to zoom on a webpage, map, or image
Like I said, I have tried a factory reset and that didn't work, I am also now using it without a screen protector, to see if that was the problem, but that actually made it worse. Anybody got any ideas as to how to fix this? Or do I need to settle for a refurb replacement from VZW?
