Need help with email setup...

I have been trying to add an email account ([email protected]) to my Droid but it keeps telling me that it cannot connect to the account. I have tried all combinations of user data, and I know the data works because I have the account set up on my PC.

Perhaps I am starting off on the wrong foot? I am choosing settings/accounts/add account/corporate...and the rest is the fore-mentioned user data.

Usually most people have email problems because they are not grasping the concept of gmail/google/droid all being one and the same.

Unless it's an Exchange account don't select Corporate. Go into the Email app and add the account there.

If it is an Exchange account, what options do you have for connecting to it? Is ActiveSync available or are you stuck with OWA?

I'm not sure I get what you mean. There's nothing in the OP that makes me think that it's a gmail account.
