Need Help with Factoy Reset

I want to resell my Droid2 so I took off all pictures, videos, etc. then did a factory reset to clear everything else. The only problem is that when it came back up it says that I have to make a call to activate the phone. (I've already gotten a new phone from Verizon). So how will I be able to check to see if everything was indeed removed from my phone before I try to sell it?

I believe you can tap all four corners in a clock-wise fashion to bypass that screen.
