Need help with messaging APP

Is there any Text messaging app that will allow me to put a lock on all my text messages?

thanks

-Ryan

The stock app will let you lock them:
1. From the home screen, touch messaging.
2. Open the thread (contact’s name) that you want to lock.
3. Press and hold the message.
4. Select ‘Lock message’ (a lock will appear next to the message if it’s locked).
5. To unlock the message press and hold the locked message and choose ‘Unlock message’.

I mean lock so people can't read?

What I'm looking for is something that makes it so, if someone grabs ur phone and goes to look at ur texts they must enter a password..

Not sure you can lock individual apps but you can lock your phone.

tap menu, tap settings, tap location & security, tap set unlock pattern

Hope this helps.
Mike

Well that last statement didn't help but your earlier one did :)

Downloaded Chomp, Security settings -> Unlock pattern

Thanks a lot :)

Glad you found an app that works and meets your needs.

Mike

Ah, how do I make it so Chomp overrides the stock messaging app?
when you get a message click it from the notification bar and you should get a prompt to pick your app, click the check box to change it to the default action then select the new app. same way if you have a program for your home screen.
