I have a Droid Turbo that is great, I use it for almost everything. One of the uses is as an alarm clock. For the past week I have had a mystery alarm going off at 0106 with a snooze at 0110. I have deleted all new software that I installed during that time frame. I have checked all of my alarm settings. I deleted my alarm and reinstalled fresh all with no luck.

I hate to do a factory reset, but if that is the only cure, I will.

The alarm uses a different tone that any other alarm I use. There is no on screen display of the program calling for the alarm.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to eliminate this nuisance?

this is an update to my mystery alarm problem.
I removed all programs that had an alarm in it1:06 a.m. I did a factory reset and restored all the data that was on the phone and I still had the mystery alarm. I did another factory reset and did not allow the phone to restore any programs on it and I still had the mystery alarm. I went to the Verizon store and explained what was going on to the representative there and he called Verizon tech support. Tech support and I had a chance to discuss what I had done and I was told that was the same thing that he would have recommended that I do. So, Verizon tech support connected with Motorola tech support and they decided that apparently the phone needs to be swapped. So they are sending me a new phone to replace the phone that I have.

My apologies. I've been following this thread since I first found it, but had nothing to offer that might help, aside from the plan that you already followed and that they would've recommended.

If it's not just a defective phone, is it possible that it's not an alarm, but a notification from another app? Does it LOOK like an alarm when it goes off (option to snooze or shut off, etc?)

Not that it matters if they're going to swap it out, but I'm just curious, as I would've thought that what you've done would fix the issue.

Either way, please keep us posted if/when you get the new device!

That's a very oddball issue. Hopefully the replacement phone solves the issue. :)

Steve, I kept *telling* you that it was a mistake to let your ducks and geese play around with your cell phone! :) :)
