Need help with new phone, upgrade from OG Droid

So I've had the Moto Droid 1 since it came out and I love it, never had any problems with it, and it has been rooted the entire time I've had it. That being said, It's starting to get somewhat outdated. I've been eligible for an update for a while now, but no phone has really caught my eye. I'm not in a huge hurry to get a new phone but I was just curious what other phones were coming out before 2012. I've seen some threads about the Droid 3, which definitely looks like something I might want, but with a locked boot loader and moto blur, I may have to reconsider.

I'm so used to having a physical keyboard, but I think I may just have to suck it up and go with a virtual keyboard. I want a phone that has a front facing camera and that has a 4" screen. Can anyone help me out??? Thanks!!!

How are you already eligible for an upgrade? It it is still too early for the new every two promotion.

I got the OG droid when it came out and I'm elegible for NE2 (the promo price with $50 credit) so it is possible. Anyway, personally I'm holding out for D3 and I would recommend the same for you.

I got the same Droid on Day one when it was offered November 6th. They let you get one on the new every two 4 months early so the date should be July 6th. That is what they are telling me and it appears the math makes sense. What date are they giving you? Do you have more than one phone on your plan?

I have 3 other phones on my plan, I'm know for a fact I can upgrade already, I called Verizon a couple weeks or so, but like I said above, I'm in no rush. I'm just curious as to what phones are coming out later in the year and how good they will be. Does anyone know when the D3 will come out?

There is nothing out worth upgrading for now. I'm waiting til I here some info on the Samsung galaxy s2?

The bionic and or targa seem to be getting more info recently.

I don't feel like my Droid is outdated. I am super impressed what the devs are still able to do with this phone especially Chevy and his SS roms. That's why I'm waiting til my Droid dies and my next phone has to have a very strong dev community and unlocked of course.

ok well based on this article.. the only difference between the x2 and the bionic is the front facing camera and 4g.

only differences between bionic and the d3 are the keyboard,0.3 on the screen size and 4g.

processors and ram seem to be the same across the board.

what is the difference in on board memory and included memory card?
