a Gingerbread question
alright, i've on the first leaked Gingerbread since it got released.
and i log into this site and found that there are two Gingerbread updates..588 and the 591..
from what i've read i have to .SBF back to Froyo 2.3.340 re-root and install the Droid 2 bootstrap...okay thats what i've did, as of right now, i'm back to Froyo and Rooted.
the next step was to Download the the 3 zip files in order to update to the .588 version, okay this is were i'm stuck now, the 3 zip files downloaded without a problem, and i place them on the SDcard. now i go into Droid 2 Bootstrap, try to install the 3 zip files, startin with the 1st, it started the process, but when it got to where it said it was "Verifing" something. i got this code:
assert failed:apply_patch_check(MTD:boot:4194304...etc etc, lotta numbers.....) (status 7)
i don't know what this means, plz tell wht i'm not doing right?..
