We received a spam inbox message, apparently by way of DroidForums.net.

Please let us know how to contact the moderator directly.

Did you receive an inappropriate forum Private Message? Is that what you are referring to? I have a suspicion that many of us received those. There are many Moderator here, pick one and send them a message

For the Mod team (@TisMyDroid @bkdodger @pc747 @Jonny Kansas etc.) there are a lot of new members with names containing "lady" (ladybeautiful395, etc.) logged in and all engaged in Private Conversations. Some of these new "ladies" are sending Private Messages and inviting us to become their partner (to put it nicely and keep it family friendly). You may have received them also and are already aware of it, but that is what JandN2639 is referring to. If you look at the list of current members logged in you will see about a dozen of them. All user names created today.

we'll look into it. Thanks for the heads up.

Let us know if you want the screenshot of the message we received. If not, we’ll delete it. The message is basically pornographic.

I can not see a private message unless you report it. So open the PM and hit report. That will allow me to see the msg as well as username sending the spam. Thanks.

I didn't know we could report PM messages like normal public posts, or I would have this morning. I instantly selected the Delete & Leave option. Now the PM is gone.

Edit: I don't see a Report option in the PM menu list within Tapatalk, but it is there using a Browser

If you open a pm in a browser it will look like a thread. So you should have a report option similar to what you see in a thread when you use a browser. Now I know majority of us use TT to view the forum but without reporting it we can not see your PMs.

Now I went through our Admin CP and just rejected a boatload of new members that signed up with similar names. So I likely got them all for now. But if you guys get another either report it or add one of us to the conversation and we can take care of it from there.

Thanks again.

To note. As of the time of this post you cannot report pm on TT. So if you're using Tapatalk you will have to open up the Chrome browser to report a post.

Or add one of us to the conversation in TT.

There has been a rash of "new users" sending the same inappropriate message this week.

Not sure how they've gotten through the filters but please make sure to report them so they can all be dealt with swiftly.

Thanks to pc and jk who are working hard on this! Especially because I have no idea how to tackle this. I also recieved the same pm which is the same as the posts that we keep banning.
