Help,

I was charging my phone earlier tonight and it was knocked off the desk it was charging on when I picked it up to plug the charger back in I noticed the connector on the inside was bent and I can no long connect the charger or the usb cable. I have insurance on the phone but I would like to send it back to stock before returning it. Is there any way I can do this without the USB cable? Should I even worry about returning it to stock? I purched the phone through Wirefly so I have the insurance through MDPA and I dont know how well they look things over or even if they do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running firmware 2.1 Ultimate droid 9.8 if that helps

Knowing the droid though, unless he left it off by now the battery is dead.

If you have insurance, then why don't you just drop it in water for a couple of hours, until it no longer turns on (I think you are just concerned that they might turn on the phone and see that your device is rooted).... I mean, you do have insurance, right?

get something small enough and try bending it back straight

I mean if he has insurance and isn't trying to return through warranty throw it against a wall...hammer to the screen...microwave even.

Try looking for a cable at monoprice.com. best prices on the internet for cables and they have great support live on line.

C'mon bill, he said without using the cable, not using a newly purchased cable =).
