well to get to bootloader on the pro you have to hold volume up+down and then hold power button you should see screen flash then just release and there you go, this is where you sbf from
well the sbf file you want is the 2.26.60 full sbf
you might wanna upgrade your moto drivers and rsd lite
and as long as you can get to bootloader and you have done it before you should be good
oh yeah dont know for sure but just to be safe after you unzip your sbf file place it on root of system
would there be any negative side effects to getting the 2.26.20 full sbf file? I have the unreleased 2.3.3 update avalible on my memory card, i just got tiered of waiting for verizon to release the ota update.
well you can try the .20 file but a guy last night couldnt get it to work and when had to on my pro i couldnt either and as soon as you get to where you can get to stock recovery make sure the update is the only zip on your card and name it update.zip and install from stock recovery
it wouldnt even recognize the file and oddly i did same thing you did and tried to flash an X rom on it and got super brick lol
if you can find a gb sbf file for the pro try but id say just get ti running and then install update and then flash the new cm7 which you can find detailed instructions in the pro forums
i have read of an Apex being built and gaining root is smple with the one click root method which i will find and give you after you get back working
I got the .20 sbf file to work. Had to clear cach/data, but it finally worked.. got thru 2 ota updates and then patching the 2.3.3 update now. Im gonna root it and see bout putting cm7 back on it.. but the version I was using has data connectivity issues which i dont really like that much.
