Netflix HD

YouTube plays HQ. But I read the razr was the first device to get 4g Netflix hd streaming. When I watch wwe on Netflix its definitely hd. I'm stumped. I owned the nexus and rezound and neither had Netflix this good. I just don't get it

Ah, a wwe fan. :).

And nice, that's pretty sweet. I'll have to check out my friends Razr to see how it compares to the Nexus.

Nope. You have to download the HD version somewhere online. The one in the market doesn't sort HD on ICS yet.

I agree.

I downloaded that one two. Didn't look as crisp as the razr

Hopefully the real version comes out soon.. I hate this one with no full screen. Hdmi mirroring is odd cause of that, lol it bugs me. And maybe the quality well be better too then if that's the case.

how does it stream Netflix hd without an hd screen like a nexus or rezound?

Obviously it would convert netflix HD (1280x720) down to 960x540 (or 540p). Which would look better than trying to covert 480 pixels up to 720 pixels (true HD display).

Anyways, that's been my experience for up converting vs down converting.

The thread got me interested so I tested out the netflix HD to my 32" Panasonic LCD 720p and I was pretty impressed. I need to test on my 50" plasma tomorrow.

It doesnt matter what your phones screen resolution is. Just like the Wii, its highest output setting is only 480p (DVD quality) via the component cable (red, white, blue, green, red connectors), the RAZR output is 1080p HD via HDMI. The PS3 puts out a 1080 signal as well. So it doesnt depend on the devices screen resolution but the calability of the device being used.
