Netflix Now Available.

Got it on my Droid OG with the apk, but it won't play video. I'm running the CM6.1.2 ROM. I couldn't find it in my market, so had to get the apk.

Still good to see the UI on it even if I can't play videos. I think the community will figure out a way to make the app compatible with other devices.

Works on mine also. From what I've seen, looks like you need to be running gingerbread for it to work.

It doesn't work on every android phone yet.

The Netflix android apphttp://download.cnet.com/Netflix/3000-31714_4-75449412.html is now available for free download in the Android market, but only for the following supported phones: HTC's Incredible, Nexus One, Evo 4G, G2, and Samsung's Nexus S. While the list does seem a bit thin, Netflix says it's working hard to roll the app out en masse. Read about the release on the official Netflix blog.

What the hell? It is supported on the incredible but not my Dx! Wtf???

So how are you guys getting them to run on phones not supported yet? I have the old .apk that lets me log in and browse, but streaming doesn't work yet.

I think it has to do with what android build you are on. I am rooted and running 2.3.3 on my og Droid.

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.

It probably only works for 2.3 devices (which they could've just said). Netflix is just streaming video; it'd be silly for it not to work on other devices

I have GB on my phone but it doesn't work for me. Says my device is not supported.
