Netflix Over HDMI?

I have an X2 and I hooked it up to my tv with hdmi.
When I played netflix the movie was really block/pixelated like it wasn't high enough resolution for the tv.

But when I played a movie through movie streams app it looked fine.

Not sure why netflix had such issues though

From what I've read you have to have TV set at 720 and have phone on wifi. Flash 10.3 seems to help. Getting HDMI cable tomorrow and trying it out.

For me even when i use netflix on my pc, i have to wait a few min before the pixelation goes away, However with the app the pixelation goes away but then after a few min the video goes back to the phone with a screwed up display.

Anyone know how to fix this?

RealHDMI worked for me, but I think it screwed up my HDMI port. It doesn't work anymore.

i am using a netflix-device-check-disabled.apk from xda on froyo and realhdmi works but is very pixelated. streaming it over a wii or other wifi game system the movies work great.
