Netflix volume is too low! Other apps are fine?

When I listen to MP3s through Meridian, stream music over the Pandora app, or listen on turntable.fm through the browser, the volume is fine. 80% with headphones is plenty loud, or if I have it plugged into my car's stereo, I put it at 100% with my stereo at 60%.

But with Netflix, I put the phone at 100% and I can barely hear some dialogue in TV shows with my headphones. If I have it plugged into my car, then even with my stereo at full blast, while going down the highway, it is hard to understand some of the dialogue (I keep the phone on the passenger seat with the screen facing down so I can't WATCH movies/TV, I just listen to them).

Are there any good apps for amplifying sound past the factory settings? I'm on a stock, rooted Droid 4.
