Soooo whats up everyone out there. I am new to the forum... have only poked around on this since last night.
Me:
I am a fan of both mac and pc. The droid phone is the first time I have been back on a PC format since college. I got the Incredible because it looked rad and I could have a smart phone that was comparable to the iphone on Verizon!
What I have:
My laptop/only computer is a MacBook running OS X ver10.5.8.
Phone is a Droid incredible 2.2
What I have done:
Rooted my Droid incredible 2.2 last night using the unrevoked site.
What I want to do:
install Nandroid backup
install update recovery tool
install a custom ROM - which will let me take off all of the verizon firmware apps (Amazonmp3 etc)
install/use overclock - to speed this up
figure out tethering not sure how it works but sounds like i could make my
incredible a router and log on to the internet from anywhere with my laptop and incredible together
MEET DROID BABES!
Really the phones seems like it can do a lot. The open platform is limitless in comparison to iphone setup. I just don't know if having my mac laptop as my only computer screws me or what!
Lots of questions and need everyones wisdom and advice.
Thanks
