From old school to an incredible and wow what a change. My old phone was just, well just a phone. I finally moved up . Its all new to me so I'm sure I will have plenty of questions. Deciding on which one was tough. I liked the inc because of its size and it was light weight. I like the X but thought it would be to big to carry around and the 2 was a toss up because it had the key pad. So here I am with a inc. Getting use to the touch screen will take a little while.

That is about the same for me. Thanks for the welcome everyone. This really is new to me. The first download I did was Pandora. That took me a while. I'm sure there are other more important things I should do first. Thats what Im trying to figure out now.

Unless your planning on rooting your phone right away, the only important thing is to enjoy your phone. Oh and stay away from Task Killers. Its kind of like eating a frog to get the fly.

Yes... task killers are no good in android 2.2...it will slow your system down and work against the os.

Smart phones like to eat battery life for dinner so you may want to adjust things like auto sync, screen brightness, etc to conserve battery life.

and I was told to download advanced task killer and my lookout ? I should probably be posting these questions in another forum area. So I will start a new topic in the correct area after this post.

Task killers drain the battery. I would suggest a task manager such as watch dog or android task manager.
