New Apps

Wondering if a Mod could sticky this and have it be a running thread of new apps that come out that people find useful, fun, and/or entertaining

i know i have a hard time keeping up with new apps all the time and itd be nice to have one place to look and see whats popular

I really wish there was a dictionary editor app. I know you can remove words that you have added to the dictionary, but there is no way to remove words that are built into the android OS dictionary. I hate texting with predictive text and having random words coming up that I know i'll never use in place of the words that I need to use. If I could just delete them it would make texting a lot faster

very good point, especially how it adds all your friends from facebook's names

i would love to be able to remove words from the default dictionary.

I can't see a stickied thread being a useful resource for this. There are already plenty of threads for apps that people find useful in this forum and new ones are constantly being added. Just read the forum.

hi there, I"ve only had my Droid for a week now and so far my favorite apps are:

Seesmic - for twitter
Apps Organizer (very much like categories for the iPhone)
Google Goggles and Barcode scanner are awesome for what they do
Ringdroid works really well for creating your own ringtones off of your mp3's
Tubedroid - download your favorite video's from YouTube

Apps that have promise that I need to play around some more are:
KeyRing - because I have too many rewards cards from places I shop
Evernote
Gdocs
Calendar Pad - seems to be a nice overlay for Google Calendar

All I have for now :-)

420.notifier (notifies you of the time 4:20)
home++
(a better desktop environment)
mototorch (led flash light)
screebl lite (keeps screen on based on phone positioning)
superdial*
(its a dialer, but its super)
*not new but awesome and under appreciated

edited for new apps only
