New D2, what to do?

Ok, got the D2 today, need to root.

Is there a one click, yes I am that lazy.

Is there a hotspot or wireless tether for D2 like there was for rooted D1?

Is there anything special I can do with a rooted D2 that I couldn't with D1?

Is there an app to make it easier to permanently remove the hideous bloatware?

I have an Original Droid so I haven't used it personally but I have only heard good things about it - even from some of our Staff who are D2 owners

Run it download rom manager and use it to install a custom rom.

The only rom I ever install is to OC, but Unstable Apps seems to have an OC program I was looking at trying.

What about a hotspot? The phone has a link to start one, but I think that requires a monthly fee, or is it free with the D2?
