New default Media Player question

How do i assign a default player to play all types of files, I have Winamp and want it to play everything. When i get sent an AVI i can't view it at all. Main issue is plaing AVI video.
I prefer to use WindancedroidAmp but h ave no problem upgrading to something that plays most formats and also lets me set it as the default player.
Instructions to setup would be helpful.

I don't know if WinAmp (app) will play videos. I have WinAmp (and other media players) installed and I still just use the stock 'video player' for video.
