Hi. Happy to be here to share stories, good, bad or otherwise with other Droid afficionados. I have ditched my Blackberry and got a Droid Galaxy Nexus in mid-December. Its always had an issue retaining power and twice I returned to the Verizon store to discuss issues with the inability of the phone to stay operational for more than 3 or 4 hours and repeatedly their technicians have told me to take this APP or that APP off the phone to save power but not once have they acknowledged that they have been told about all kinds of technical issues with this phone to include the inability to store power. The phone also rarely connects using 4G speed even though I am in a 4G zone. Today it has quit altogether and I'm told that I have no recourse since 14 days have passed. The fact that I purchased a maintenance contract has absolutely effect on this. I don't get it.
