New Droid Owner (well almost)

Ok its official! I have been lurking these boards for awhile now and took the plunge this evening. Just ordered my Moto Droid and now the wait begins.
Come on UPS!

Have decided to go with root and looking seriously at the BB rom, any suggestions for a newbie fresh from my Blackberry Curve?

Yup. Don't assume that Android works the way the BB did.

Give yourself a day or two with the phone as is just to get used to it before rooting.

I appreciate the advise. My plan is to give it a month or so before root. Get used to the phone and test its capabilities as compared to my Blackberry. I remember the switch from my dumb phone to my Blackberry, took a bit to get used to things.....
