New Droid owner

I recently switched from my blackberry storm2 to the droid and its so far the best thing ive done. im loving it so far.

one question is that when its hooked up to my computer to charge and i try to take a picture it says insert sd card first. i took off the battery cover and it looks like it has one i havent taken out the battery, is it to the left of the battery and above it?

also it keeps saying to insert disc if provided with one to complete install? or something like that.

is it mounted. it wont let you do it if you mount it to the pc.
