new droid user, got yesterday

hello all
just got it, am having quite fun exploring all this can do.
quite impressive, its been a while since i have upgraded.
looking forward to doing more customizing in very near future
but am having problem. so far only thing i can find that is having
some sort of trouble.

here it is..... the wifi
droid finds my wifi, connects to it
all seems well, i got the wifi analyzer
what it doesnt do, transfer data ....
im puzzled

any suggestions
have tried another wifi spot and same thing
