New Member
Just upgraded to the Moto Droid through Verizon while they had the bogo offer. Now the wife and I are spending all of our free time learning the in and out of this amazing phone. Can't wait to dive deeper into the os and see what tweeks can be made.
 
Okay, I have a for sure newb question. I noticed that when I have my droid plugged into the power the screen shuts off and it charges... When I plug my wifes in to charge her screen locks, but stays on. She says she didn't do anything and I can't remember if I changed something on mine, but I would like while it is charging to be able to see the clock and notifications. Any idea what I might have done.
 
welcome! And if you ever want to root and whatnot to make your phone a lot faster, better looking and cooler than the wife's droid let me know ;)
 
Thanks, I have been reading about rooting my phone, but I just haven't developed the balls to try it yet. I have this odd fear that I'll end up bricking it.
 
LoL.. yeah you are correct, that is the best part.. Just like putting together a brand new gaming pc built from scratch. Pushing the power button and holding your breath till you hear the post beeps. Except if I botch a new pc setup it is just a few troubleshooting steps to fix.. if I botch a root attempt, I'm out $300.. hmm
