First off, remove the task killer...it actually makes things worse.

Then you can always root, install a custom ROM and over clock.

Before jumping right in to rooting, let's find out more. Give us some info: define slow? Slow loading browser? A certain app? Is there lag?
Also what widgets are u running?
Are u just hitting home button instead of closing apps?
Fill us in on those kinds of details. :)

+1
I used to be obsessed with taskillers. I'd be killing tasks left and right. Realized my battery wasn't lasting long. Basically because, unless you're rooted and can remove some system apps that start on their own, thats exactly what will happen. Apps will restart on their own. Constant or even occasional task killing just makes the CPU go nuts cuz it has to restart those apps again, for whatever reason. And that WILL slow things down.
So get rid of the taskiller.
Just let things go for awhile afterwards. Like maybe a day. Let things sync up the way they are supposed to. If you still have big issues, then come back and we can guide you in another direction.

After you get rid of the task killer reboot your phone as well.

Its slow changing from app to app and even affects the phone. Sometimes takes 15 to 20 seconds changes
