New Droid X user

Switched to the droid x from the droid 2 like the bigger screen and easier to txt....the guy at verizon said some apps can slow down my phone because i was having that problem with the droid 2.....what apps shud i look out for or if any?

APP's that are constantly updating and storing lot's of cached data will slow you down. Clearing the cache on occasion will get performance back, but time will slow it down again.
