Facebook has released an update for their Android app that brings support for front facing cameras as well as bugs fixes and more. The new update brings the app to version 1.9.7 and is only available for devices sporting Android 2.2 Froyo and newer, so users with 2.1 and prior will be stuck on their current version. Check out the full change log below.

- Facebook for Android 1.9.7 requires Android 2.2 and up
- A front-facing camera makes it easier to take photos
- New messaging features let you switch between conversations, include friends of friends, share bigger photos, and see who’s available
- Various bug fixes
- Made a security improvement
- Faster app login and navigation

You can grab the update in the play market here or snap the QR code below.

So can we choose what folders to upload pics to? I think its stupid they removed that feature in the first place. I'm also willing to bet this new version sucks. Probably even more than it used to. It's what i've come to expect from facebook for android, and their apparent team of mentally challenged monkeys they have as programmers.
