So I must be an idiot, and did something stupid at some point, but when I download this and try to install it, I just get the screen with the red triangle.

Can anyone explain why this is? my phone is rooted.

That update seemed to make things worse for me. My texts don't sure the contact's picture any more

Well I updated mine and now it shuts down on me and I cannot turn it back on without opening up the case and taking battery out and putting it back in. VERY nice "update" Verizon.

I decided to try updating and it wont let me. Gets to the update screen and fails every time. I'm guessing its because I'm rooted or that I have a modified bootloader

I updated my phone as well....HTC Incredible II and now when I try to send an email from my contacts list, it always uses my gmail account and I don't have the option of sending it from one of my other e-mail accounts. home screen-people-contact card-email always uses gmail account which I never use for anything. This just started after the update or whatever it was.

I still have all my other email accounts on the phone and can send emails from them separately and one of them is set as my default e-mail.

But can only send from gmail from my contact list. Now the contact list is useless.

Can anyone help?
