My name is Brandon I am a power lineman in mn. Looking forward to learning some things from everyone. Also looking for advice on if I should spend the money and get a rezound or get a dinc2 with my upgrade.

Hi Brandon and welcome to the site! As far as those 2 phones go, I would go with the Rezound specially if you have 4G in your area. :)

No 4g in my area. Supposed to be sometime in 2012 i have heard. The reason I am considering the dinc2 is becasue i dont really use the phone for much more than simple games and internet. Not sure I need all the bells and whistles the rezound has.

Hmm, then the Dinc2 might be good for you then. It is a good device but remember, you're stuck with any phone for 2 years. Be sure to check out our Rezound and Dinc2 sections. That might help you decide...:)

That's about what I use my phone for and I have the original incredible. I'm more than happy with it for the next year or 2, and the dinc 2 is probably better.

I love my very first smartphone... The Incredible 2. I too live in a 3g (if I'm lucky) area. There are so many options on this phone that it will take me the two years to explore most of what is here. The games work great.

Occasionally the HTC launcher will hang up require a force close and restart... but I downloaded GO Launcher and used another app to lock it to my notification bar so I can just pull that down and open GO and keep right on without any delays. Sooo much fun.

I was new to touch keyboards and contact lists and right out of the box I thought I'd made an expensive mistake. Then I learned that if you don't like it or it feels awkward there's a good chance you can change it and usually for free. Now my absolutely Incredible phone is the 'free phone with contract'. I have played and tweaked my screens and apps and came here looking for a guide for newer users to solve mysteries like bootloader and hroot and terminology for tech I'm just beginning to explore. The I2 will be a great choice!
