New google Maps - Sholes Mod?

Just noticed there is a google maps update.
Do you guys know if we need to do this if we are running with Sholes 2.02 rom?
I realise 2.03 has the map FC, so I reverted back to 2.02. Do we already have this map update?

i just went back to 2.0.3 and then updated maps and now no more force closes. i think the last update a few days ago was 3.5 now its 4.0.

I would update it gives you the new google buzz thingy and it gives us night mode for navigation.

I am running sholes 2.03 smoothly an updated my maps to 4.0 in the marketplace and all is running well

Thats weird because with the 2.02 I got the night mode navigation already.

I am running 2.0.3 Sholes and the map update works fine, also all weatherbug and weather channel radars are working with it.

I went back to 2.03, updated the new maps and all is well. thx guys for your help!

updated to 2.0.3 and then updated to maps 4.0.
Everything is working fine with the exception that the backlight for my home keys and physical keyboard no longer lights.

I guess I'll have to search about that.

just do a restart and you should be good to go
