Hello all.
Just got the DROID for me and the Wife.
Love it so far.
Too much stuff to learn. :)

I Had the HTC Touch before this..
Big step up from that so called smartphone.
It was OK but the Droid is in another league altogether.
A Few of my Iphone fanboy buddies have even commented on how much they like the DROID.

Looking forward to learning all about this sweet new phone.
later..

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I try to convert every Iphone user I meet over to the DROID.
One of my coworkers is a Hard Core APPLE guy and even he likes it.
When I got mine he started messing with it.
We went through all the apps and features of his and mine, and every one I had, plus more that he didnt. haha

He really likes the fact that we can take our battery and SD card out.
Where the Iphone can not.
He's sent his back 2 times for a new battery.

First off, welcome to the forums.

Second, as nice as many of Apple's products are, it has always BAFFLED me that they insist on making the batteries non-user replaceable. (Well, without performing delicate surgery & possibly voiding any warranty) Just another way Steve Jobs' control-freakism repels me from his pretty products.

I agree with you about Apple's products they look very nice but they don't allow you to change the battery or sd card. My 2 daughters had Blackberrys for over a year and they both switched to Iphones 2 months ago. I got my Droid 4 days ago and now they are interested in the droid now.

Go figure !!!
