It looks like the smartwatch manufacturers are finally starting to get an idea of what consumers want out of a wearable. A new watch from LG, with the model number LG VC-100, just hit the FCC for testing, and it comes with wireless radios designed to make it useable on a cellular network. Not only that, but it even includes a CDMA radio which is compatible with Verizon, obviously suggesting it will be coming to Big Red.
Apparently, this one may even have a built-in SIM card which means it won't need to be paired with an existing cellphone in order to make and take calls. If it turns out this device also has a round clock face and runs Android, then LG might just have a hit on their hands. This obviously assumes they don;t price it into the stratosphere. What do you think?
