New market problems

I tried installing the new 2.2.7 market and no I get nothing but force closes. Of course stupid me can't get my backup to install so I have no market now. I have ultimatedroid 2.5 any help would be greatly appreciated

Why can't you revert to a backup? Are you getting an error message like md5 sum mismatch or something else?

I ended up just doing a nandroid restore back a couple of days and reinstalled a different market.apk i found and it worked fine. no probs now.
