First computer work in 1955, tracking missiles. Worked through tube and solid state analog and digital computers. Wrote three operating systems (when they were simpler). Spent 9 years with Univac and 30 with the University of Kansas. Helped create an early ISP. Worked through main frames, minicomputers and several types of micro machines. Now picking up Android. Designed and managed the first three campus wide networks at KU. Designed and managed the implementation of the first phases of Kansas state wide education network. Have done many years of part time (then some full time) computer and network consulting.
