New member in SC

Not sure what you all want to know. Just got a Motorola Droid for myself and my wife got the Droid Eris for heself last night. We're still learning ur way around these things. I figured I could find some answers here. I'll spend some time reading before I start asking questions. A little about myself, spent 11 years in the Army, now I'm a full-time Engineering student. Currently live in SC and my free time is spent with family or at the drag strip. Now with that said, where is the thread that tells me the things that you must absolutely do to keep these things running smooth?

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. Probably a good place to start is in the FAQ's portion of the forum on the bottom of the main forum page. All kinds of good information there.

Also you may want to take a look at the apps thread to see what people are using for different apps. Droid does....but it's open platform so frequently you need an app.

If you have trouble finding something we are all here to help. Don't be afraid to ask. Search first of course, but if you can't find it let us know.

been reading, my issue so far is terminology. I'm just going to have to keeep reading to figure it out. I know there are some really cool apps out there but I don't to fill my phone up with apps because they are cool, I want the ones I'm going to use.
