droidforums is a great place, i'm a former member of mydroidworld, which for some reason the forums look dangerously close to the ones here...droidforums.net will be my new home for staying up to date on the latest android news and roms. I'm not too technical but I always like to lend a helping hand where I can.

obviously I have the biggest market presence android model at the moment, and once my 2 year contract is up, I will wait for the next huge mainstream android model to arrive simply because I love how there is so much support for droid 1 owners. the gingerbread rebaked rom looks tasty but I will wait til the bugs are fixed to adopt it. until then, 2.2.1 it is
