New Messages Failing to be Received

After the latest Android update to my S22 on 8/31, I randomly will stop receiving incoming texts. I've tried different apps (Textra & Messages), both with the same results (outgoing messages are sent fine). It takes a restart of the phone for my messages to come through.

Has anyone else experienced this after the last update and if so, how have you gotten past it?

No issues here maybe I would suggest shutting down the phone removing the SIM and waiting a little bit and inserting it back into the phone and restart.. I could also suggest maybe resetting network settings..

Appreciate the response! Just tried that and still the same issue. It's actually happening very frequently (several times a day) now. I've had to restart my phone 3 times already today. After the restart, I get the missing messages.

What phone and carrier are you using?

Samsung S22 - Verizon

Apologies I missed that on your original post...I would go to a Verizon maybe swap out the SIM card ...last resort would be so a factory reset with the phone set up new if all else fails
