The 2nd Gen Moto X from last year turned out to be one of the best phones to hit the market last year. While other flagships like the LG G3, and the Note 4 started to bring QHD to market Moto decided to stick with the tried and true 1080p screen which used less processing power and less battery. Since then processors have gotten bigger and OEMs have found ways to tweak battery life.
It looks like the next Moto flagship lineup will include QHD displays. Quad HD brings you double the resolution of 1080p HD, and actually more pixels than your eyes can even notice! Specs have been leaked of a 3 phones that are currently being tested by Motorola in or around Chicago! The Model numbers are XT1578, XT1585, and XT192A. The first two models are running Android 5.1.1 and the last is running 5.1. All three phones feature a 2368x1440 screen. The first model may be a larger screen, possibly 5.4" with 560 ppi. The other two phones may have a much smaller screen like 4.7"-5.0" with 640ppi! Each phone features NFC, Phone, and Wifi.
