The video above demonstrates the new Root Method for modern Motorola devices (MotoX and Droid Ultra series devices) that have received the latest camera fix update. The camera fix OTA update patched the PawnMyMoto Root method. Jcase quickly turned out the new RockMyMoto root method. This is not nearly as easy as the pawn my moto method. You will need a basic knowledge of adb. If you are comfortable with adb and you know how to follow instructions this method should be a breeze. I have not seen any discussion as to whether or not safestrap works with this root method after the update on the Verizon version of the MotoX.
