The new Tegra 2 dual-core processor we were becoming accustomed to, just became last year’s technology and Nvidia is working on a new faster model for this year. Tegra 2.5 just recently made headlines as the next-in-line to the Tegra 2 processor which powers the much anticipated Motorola Xoom. The processor is rumored to have clock speeds around 1.2GHz per core, and also more powerful 3D capability included. This means a growth in speed, graphics performance, and other improvements.
This processor should be announced at MWC if rumors are true, which means our next line of tablets might well be running Nvida chips as well…
Anyone excited for this year’s MWC now?
