Well I'm encountering a small problem with rootimg my droid via simplified methods. Z4 doesn't work, Super One Click doesn't work and Easy Root doesn't work. I used to have Rooted Droid and after I upgraded I lost root and Clockwork Mod. I've done a weeks worth of research in threads, forums, and internet browsing yet nothing necessarily has information about rooting my particular Droid via one click. I'm running Motorola Droid vA855 frg83d froyo 2.2.1 kernel 2.6.32.9-g68eeef8android-build@apa26 #1...and I'm asking for your help. Thank you, and to all the anonymous Android Developers and Hackers, keep up the good work, you guys are the BEST...

Not too much information regarding easy-rooting, but thanks for the post. I might just have to root manually if this doesn't get resolved...but I tried manual rooting for a week and I just couldn't understand any of those guides...

I believe that easy root was pulled from the market but I believe you may be able to find a copy on XDA
